Ty Castell sits in the heart of the Carmarthenshire countryside, in a small hamlet village called Nantgaredig. Tucked away at the end of a lane is a most remarkable establishment. Once a farmhouse on the banks of the River Towy, Ty Castell – now a four star guest-house – opens its doors to weekenders, rural explorers, nature and garden admirers, golfers and fishermen (the sea-trout and salmon fishing here is superb). A warm welcome awaits all our guests. Ty Castell also offers its visitors style, comfort and facilities of a very high standard, with a genuinely friendly, informal and personal touch.
Ty Castell Guest House is the closest 4 star guesthouse to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales which is just three miles from our property. With it's award winning largest single span Great Glasshouse designed by Lord Foster. Many of the areas are under cover an nearly all easily accessible for wheelchair users. Aberglasney Mansions Historic Gardens is just six miles away.
Ty Castell is centrally located on the Towy riverbank with tranquil gardens and panoramic views. Ideal for major towns, attractions, shows & festivals, walking, cycling and relaxing.
Ty Castell breakfast and dining room is housed in a delightful conservatory that allows you to look out across the river Towy and beautiful gardens. A full Welsh or English traditional breakfast is served every morning to start you off. Ty Castell offers good home cooked food and utilese's local meat and veg produce. Ty Castell also caters for all dietary needs where possible.
Fishermen are welcomed, River Towy Fishing permits available free of charge to our staying Guests by kind permission of the Carmarthen Angling Association.

Everyone is welcome, however we regret that we are not able to accommodate children under 10 years due to the hazards presented by the large pond and nearby River Towy.
