Ty Castell has a super little bar, tucked away at the side of the restaurant (the restaurant being housed in a delightful conservatory that allows you to look out across the river). Enjoy local Welsh ales and fine wines as well as the traditional liqueurs and soft drinks either in the Restaurant, Gardens or on the Riverbank. A full Welsh traditional breakfast or if booked a continental breakfast is served every morning to start you off and full al a carte meals and specials are available in the evening, together with a small room service choice. Ty Castell offers good home cooked food and utilese's local meat and veg produce from a nearby farm. A varied menu with choice of appetizers, main courses, desserts and specials are on offer every day. Ty Castell also caters for all dietary needs and you can even ask for a smaller portion !

As the evening shadows draw across the countryside, candles are lit in the restaurant, In the growing dusk you may be lucky enough to see bats, or an otter, or a barn owl silently surveying his territory, sights that restore the soul and make you feel part of Nature and a real world again. Herons, Swans and a variety of other animals and birds may be seen, not forgetting Ty Castell's logo the colorful Kingfisher. Whether you are late night fishing or day time hiking fresh sandwiches and hot coffee can be prepared for you so that all you need to do is to go and get on with whatever you choose.

Ty Castell also caters for various small functions such as birthday parties with either buffet or four course meal. Quality known live entertainment can be organised or if you prefer a themed Disco and our colleagues who own other nearby Guesthouses and B&B's can assist with extra accommodation if required. Let is know your requirements and we will sort additional accommodation out for you. You will love the location for your function. Celebrate your birthday in style knowing that your bedroom is nearby to retire and complete a perfect night with a night cap from the bar, not forgetting a full Welsh breakfast the next day!

In the summer we hold BBQ's and hold various functions throughout the year. We can provide professional entertainment singers, bands, Welsh dancing and a disco. So talk to us about your special day over a cream tea on the riverbank.

We can adapt our conservatory from a birthday celebration setting to a Murder Mystery Evening such as "Death on Concorde". In the Spring & Summer and occasionally in the Autumn you and your guests can spill outside into the gardens or even sit by or on the riverbank.

Picnic baskets, packed lunches, flasks of hot or cold drinks are also available at reasonable and competitive costs not forgetting to mention that Welsh cream teas are served on the riverbank whenever you want.
